One of things I’ve been working on recently was the ability to get my Instagram photos to use to display on this site. I wanted to be able to grab it via a simple GET request on the front end and write a component (I use Nuxt/Vue) to utilize that data. But you need to use an access token and I didn’t want that exposed in my front end code, so I’ve been working on a WordPress plugin that will give me an Instagram REST API I can call and get my personal Instagram posts back in JSON. Once that plugin is complete, I’ll be posting about it here!
